Zahava Rosenthal

Associate, Private Client

Zahava is an Associate in the Private Client team.

She acts predominantly for UK resident and domiciled individuals, families and trustees on all aspects of tax and succession planning and trust matters.

Zahava also acts for executors and administrators for a wide variety of estates, including those with cross-border elements and assets situated across the world.

She advises on a wide variety of private client practice areas including the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney, the creation and ongoing administration of trusts and the administration of estates.

Her specific area of specialism and interest is in acting for clients with capacity issues. This includes advising clients who have received a dementia diagnosis on what options are available to them for their estate planning, and aiding families supporting individuals who lack capacity. Zahava has worked with doctors to assess clients’ capacity to enable such clients to put in place estate planning documents including wills and lasting powers of attorney.

Zahava was awarded the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales) in 2022, with distinctions in all four papers, also receiving the Certificate of Worldwide Excellence in the Taxation of Trusts (England and Wales) examination.

She read music at St Peter’s College, Oxford, before obtaining a distinction in the LPC at the University of Law. She joined Forsters on qualification in 2019.
