Oliver Claridge
Senior Associate, CorporateOliver is a Senior Associate in the Tax team.
He advises on a range of corporate tax issues, covering taxes on UK residential and commercial property transactions, withholding taxes on international finance deals, taxes on corporate transactions, structuring for UK and international clients and taxes affecting employers and employees.
With particular experience in dealing with HMRC enquiries, as well as looking into the ever changing IR35 provisions, Oliver deals with clients ranging from pension funds and large corporates through to individuals and first time buyers. Giving advice on complex and technical areas in a readily understandable way Oliver provides readily manageable advice to allow his clients to take immediate action on their tax affairs, allowing them the peace of mind to focus on their core business or personal needs.
Oliver briefly worked in commercial radio before joining Forsters in 2016 as a trainee and qualifying in 2018.

The Government has recently announced a "VAT Holiday" for businesses, meaning that the VAT payment due for the periods ended 31 March 2020, 30 April 2020, 31 May 2020 and 30 June 2020 won't now be due until 31 March 2021.
