Sarah Heatley

Senior Associate, Property Litigation

Sarah is a Senior Associate in the Property Litigation team with experience in all areas of contentious residential and commercial property matters.

She regularly advises on service charge disputes, possession claims and the recovery of land from squatters, breaches of lease covenants, real property matters such as the modification of easements and professional negligence.

Sarah has developed particular expertise in cladding related matters and regularly acts for building owners and occupiers pursuing and defending liability and costs recovery claims. Sarah also has experience in assisting building owners with the fire safety funding process and related negotiations, and also regularly gives external fire safety related training.

With a friendly, down to earth and approachable manner, Sarah acts for a broad range of clients including landlords and tenants, mixed use estates countrywide, developers and charities.

Sarah trained at Alan Edwards & Co in Notting Hill, now Russell-Cooke. She qualified into their Litigation team in December 2014 and subsequently moved to Forsters in September 2015 to specialise in Property Litigation.
